When Sylvia first began training with poised she was suffering from chronic back and leg pain.
Through
careful guidance on her selection of small group sessions
and training four times a week, and from time to time training
one on one with her poised trainer, Sylvia made
a breakthrough.
Sylvia has been consistent in her training and it shows.
She stands taller, walks with more confidence and most importantly
is nearly pain free.
Being more physically fit has given me more flexibility,
energy, and confidence in my appearance.
When asked how fitness and healthy living has affected others
in her life, Sylvia responds in her usual upbeat fashion
My husband likes that I have less time to spend money;
my daughter likes to take me clothes shopping
Each person has to give him or herself permission
to take the time and money to invest in the quality of their
life through physical exercise and a healthy life style. Once
the commitment is made, they have to prioritize the time to
follow through. If I cant make a class because of travel
or conflicts, I can make up the time some other way. It also
takes flexibility to keep the commitment. Exercise is good
not just for my physical health, but very important for my
mental and overall health and well being. I have to remind
myself that I cant be good for others if I not good
to myself.
Way to go Sylvia, that is a winning attitude, and we all
know
Attitude is Everything.
