I know what you might be thinking, Those
trainers at Poised are such nags, always
pushing that water bottle at me. Yep thats
right, and here are just a few reasons why:
Water
allows the body the ability to assimilate (use)
nutrients more efficiently, like burning fat.
If the kidneys are water-deprived, the liver has
to do its work on top of its own. The livers
most important function is cleaning up the internal
debris. This additional work decreases the livers
productivity and that means it cant clean
house as well and ends up storing more fat, all
because the kidneys did not get enough water.
Not only is it unhealthy to your kidneys, you
now cant get rid of that extra 3 or 4 lbs.
Drink more water and see what happens, you will
probably say good-bye to those pounds and a few
more.
You know - it hasnt changed
Eight
8-oz glasses a day. And no, tea and juice are
not the same. They may help with overall hydration,
but you will be ingesting not only more calories,
but more most likely more sugar also. We know
what happens to sugar when it is not used, it
is converted into fat. Think of it this way, would
you clean your walls with juice, coffee, tea
or
water?
Weve heard it from out favorite aunt, our
best friend and certainly our mothers,
Your complexion will look so beautiful if you
would just drink more water. That goes for
you guys also, us gals love kissing your healthy
skin! How does that happen with just a cup of
water, which is free in most places. By flushing
out the impurities and hydrating your entire body,
your skin will look more youthful, less sagging
and will glow with natural color. No thats
worth the extra trip to the bathroom.
Make sure you dont decide at 8 p.m. to start
drinking your eight 8-oz glasses of water, spread
it out through the day. Just like eating, drinking
water is most effective and useful if you drink
it throughout the day so your body has the ability
to benefit from the clean hydration and the water
can assist in the assimilation of your foods and
support activity.
So drink up! Make it cold or room temperature!
Drink a lot!....water that is. |
